SUMMER CLUB BOOK CAMP

it’s like summer camp for adults with book club sprinkled in and a million fun activities and all you have to do is show up and have a good time 😎

When: July 10-13, 2025
Where: Holiday Valley in Ellicottville, NY
Tickets start at $495/person plus hotel. Spots are limited. 

BASIC BOOKWORM PACKAGE: $495 PER PERSON

Includes food, drinks, and activities described below, access to heated-indoor-outdoor pool, hot tub, and scenic chairlift ride to Spruce Lake, plus exclusive Summer Club Book Camp swag.

ADVENTURE PACKAGE: +$70 PER PERSON (OPTIONAL ADD-ON)

Includes access to Sky Flyer Mountain Coaster and Sky High Aerial Park, featuring an exhilarating array of platforms, obstacles, bridges, and ziplines.

TINY TATTOOS: +$50 PER PERSON (OPTIONAL ADD-ON)

This is a booking fee that covers the cost of hiring two experienced and talented tattoo artists to setup a healthy and safe tattoo station at our retreat. Tattoo prices will range $70-$100 and be paid directly to Hayden and Shawnee at the time of service. Limited time slots will be available and appointments will be accepted in the order they are requested.

TICKET PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE HOTEL ROOM

Hotel room block confirmed at $594 for the weekend (taxes and fees included). Double Queen and Single King rooms available. Sharing rooms is encouraged!

DETAILS

All ticket purchases are nonrefundable. If you purchase a ticket and are unable to attend for any reason, you may transfer your ticket to someone else. To secure your spot, we are requiring a $250 down payment. THE FIRST 25 PEOPLE TO PAY WILL GET A PHYSICAL COPY OF EACH BOOK WE’RE READING! The remaining balance of your ticket price will be due 3/1/2025. If you need an alternative payment plan, please reach out. We will do our best to accommodate you.

You must contact The Inn at Holiday Valley directly to book hotel rooms at least 30 days before the event. Holiday Valley requires a 50% deposit when booking. Hotel cancellations with 72 hours advance notice will receive a refund of your deposit less a $20 processing fee. Call 716-699-2345 ext. 6500 and tell them you’re reserving a room for Summer Club Book Camp.

The resort is an easy one mile walk to the charming Village of Ellicottville and provides access to hiking and biking trails. There is also a spa, golf course, climbing forest, e-bike rentals, and more!

Participation in all activities is optional.

Free book swap will be setup during check-in. Please bring a new or gently used book to donate. Please bring no more than five books.

Bar service includes alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. You may bring your own beverages to enjoy at the pool, outdoors, and during free time.

Please communicate any dietary restrictions at least thirty days before the event.

One t-shirt per person will be provided. Please bring any additional garments you wish to tie dye.

Tattoo appointments will be booked on a first come, first served basis. Time slots are limited and reserving your spot up front is highly recommended. Tattoo artists are Hayden Welch and Shawnee Hill. They are even making some custom tiny tattoo designs just for us!

Chairlift rides run Saturday and Sunday 11am-5pm.

Aerial Park: Weight limit of 265 pounds. Climbers must be able to perform certain physical tasks.

Mountain Coaster: Must be at least 54 inches tall to ride. Weight limit of 350 pounds.
