What precautions are you taking to keep customers and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic?
Masks are now optional. Our workstations, products and equipment are sanitized between each group in the store.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Reservations are not required or accepted for groups of fewer than six people. Small groups can walk-in for the custom fragrance experience anytime we are open. Groups of 6+ are encouraged to call in advance to reserve space at the bar.
How long does the experience take?
It depends on the group, but on average, the custom fragrance experience takes 30-45 minutes. After your candles are poured, they take 90 minutes to cool before they are ready for pickup.
How much does it cost?
We do not charge any fee to make a reservation. Pour-your-own candles start at $21, but the cost depends on the vessel you choose. We also offer flameless home fragrance products that start at $14.
Can I bring my own vessel to make a candle?
No. Not all containers are candle safe, and we test our vessels with our wicks to ensure optimal burn time and quality.
Can I reuse a vessel I purchased at Scents by Design?
Yes! We want to promote sustainability and reuse vessels whenever possible. If you bring back your Scents by Design vessel, you get a discount on your refill.
Do you offer curbside pickup?
Yes. When you go through the checkout process online, free pickup is an option. We try our best to fulfill online orders within 24 hours. You will receive an email notifying you when your order is ready, and it can be picked up during our normal business hours. If you'd like us to bring your order to your car, please call the store when you arrive and we'll bring it out to you.
What is your shipping policy?
We offer free shipping on orders of $150 or more. Shipping costs are calculated based on package weight, dimensions, and distance, and displayed during the checkout process.
